Quality customer service and effective resident care are our priority. Halcyon Rehab provides a comprehensive approach to quality resident care and supportive customer service. Clinical and operation systems work in unison to ensure both professional and clinical competence. From the management of successful rehabilitation services to limitless resident success, we are your partner in the long term care of your residents.

Halcyon Rehabilitation possesses quality assurance initiatives that focus on both clinical and non-clinical programs. These programs focus on improving and maintaining optimal clinical and operational quality. Our QA Process includes extensive clinical, compliance & operational training, policy & procedures, comprehensive orientation, audit tools that capture quantitative data to measure compliance, & customer satisfaction tools. We follow the principle of "Quality Never Ends" with respect to our QA system – a 5 step process that focuses on service excellence goals, quality control indicators, policies & procedures, measurement process, and process improvement. Applying & utilizing this QA cycle with all of our care delivery & services helps to assure the delivery of safe & effective products for resident use & customer satisfaction.
The goal of Halcyon's quality assessment protocol for documentation is to ensure that therapy documentation is clear, accurate, complete, and timely, and that it satisfies all state, local & federal regulatory requirements. A system of accountability is implemented through multi-level auditing followed by employee education provided by a member of the Clinical Services Team and/or a Regional Director. Documentation and compliance is addressed through both comprehensive on-site and remote audits performed by various members of the management and clinical teams. Our pro-active approach to documentation compliance leads to success with denial management and professional and billing compliance. All levels of our organization perform documentation auditing including Rehab Directors, facility therapists, Regional Directors, Clinical Educators, Appeals & Compliance Coordinators, VP of Clinical Services, & VP of Operations. In addition, we have worked closely with Casamba to ensure that all components of documentation are tailored to meet the defining criteria and medical necessity detailed by FIs, MACs, & CMS. Results of all documentation audits are shared with our staff and our partners.
